What This Role Involves
This role involves a variety of tasks centered around the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes. You will be primarily based in the workshop but may also have opportunities to work offshore on an array of equipment for a global company.
Your Responsibilities
- Performing routine and non-routine repairs and maintenance on pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Assisting in the diagnosis and resolution of equipment issues.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a Workshop Engineer with experience working on rotating equipment. Key skills required include:
- Proven experience as a Workshop / Service Engineer or similar role.
- A strong understanding of pumps, motors, and gearboxes.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
