The Opportunity

Nucraft Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented Wood Touch Up Artist to join our production team in the heart of Kent County. In this role, you'll serve as a critical quality checkpoint in our manufacturing process. Every piece of furniture that leaves our facility passes through your hands—you'll be responsible for inspecting, refining, and preparing products to meet our high standards. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and contributes directly to customer satisfaction and our reputation for excellence.

Core Duties

• Inspect finished furniture products for defects, imperfections, and damage against established Nucraft quality standards
• Perform touch-up work on wood surfaces, including staining, finishing, repair, and blending
• Apply finishing treatments and refinishing techniques to prepare products for final shipment
• Follow established work procedures and production workflows to maintain consistency
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules without compromising quality

Requirements

• Ability to perform detailed, repetitive work with consistent, high-quality results
• Strong eye for detail and basic understanding of wood finishes and furniture quality standards
• Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and established best practices
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle finishing materials safely
• Commitment to workplace safety and contributing to a productive team environment
• Experience with wood finishing, staining, or furniture production is valued but not required
