Warehouse Automation Senior Consultant

Deloitte seeks a Warehouse Automation Senior Consultant to drive supply chain transformation in Princeton, Mercer County. In this full-time role, you'll partner with enterprise operations leaders to modernize warehouses and distribution networks through automation technology and strategic redesign—combining advisory, architecture, and hands-on implementation to deliver measurable business impact.

About This Position

This is a strategic consulting and implementation role at the intersection of supply chain operations and technology. You'll lead warehouse automation assessments, design next-generation fulfillment networks, and oversee complex deployments of automation systems, warehouse management platforms, and logistics software. Your work spans current-state analysis, future-state architecture, vendor evaluation, implementation governance, and post-go-live optimization—making you both trusted advisor and execution leader in high-stakes supply chain transformations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of warehouse and distribution operations to identify automation opportunities and supply chain inefficiencies
• Design future-state supply chain architectures and warehouse automation solutions aligned with client business objectives
• Lead solution selection, vendor evaluation, and technology selection for WMS platforms, automation hardware, and logistics systems
• Oversee implementation planning, project governance, change management, and deployment across multi-site transformations
• Drive stakeholder engagement across operations, IT, finance, and executive leadership functions
• Deliver post-implementation optimization, performance benchmarking, and value realization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain consulting, warehouse operations, or supply chain technology roles
• Deep expertise in warehouse automation technologies, warehouse management systems, and logistics software platforms
• Proven track record leading large-scale supply chain transformation and modernization initiatives
• Strong project management, client communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, business, or related discipline
