VP/Head of Marketing

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive brand awareness, market positioning, and growth initiatives for Recruiting From Scratch. In this VP/Head of Marketing role based in our Nob Hill, San Francisco office, you'll oversee all marketing functions—from strategic planning to campaign execution—and lead a growing team to establish the company as a thought leader in Voice AI technology. You'll partner closely with product, sales, and leadership to define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that accelerates customer acquisition and market adoption.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy aligned with company goals and market positioning
• Lead and mentor a marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability
• Oversee brand development, messaging, and positioning in the Voice AI and enterprise technology space
• Drive go-to-market strategy for product launches and new market segments
• Manage marketing budget allocation and optimize return on marketing investments
• Build and scale demand generation programs, including content, digital marketing, and events
• Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure marketing impact on revenue and growth
• Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success to align marketing efforts with business objectives

Qualifications

• 8+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or VP-level role
• Proven track record scaling marketing function at early-stage or growth-stage technology companies
• Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, enterprise sales cycles, or technology markets
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities with ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to measure, analyze, and optimize marketing performance
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
