About the Role
As an Asset Protection Associate, you'll protect Walmart's inventory and assets while supporting a safe, welcoming store experience. This full-time position puts you on the front lines of loss prevention, where your vigilance and customer service skills directly contribute to operational success and store safety.
What You'll Do
- Monitor store areas and customer activities to identify and prevent loss from theft or shrinkage
- Conduct regular security patrols throughout sales floors and back-of-house areas
- Verify customer identification for age-restricted merchandise and enforce company policies
- Respond promptly to security incidents and safety concerns, documenting and reporting as appropriate
- Collaborate with store management and loss prevention teams to develop and implement asset protection strategies
- Maintain professional, courteous interactions with customers while protecting store assets
- Communicate observations and potential risks to team members and leadership
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout your shift with sustained physical energy
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail

- Flexibility and availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage ranges from $17 to $30 per hour, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the applicable minimum wage for this location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premium pay of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply in specific circumstances based on schedule or facility requirements.
