Volunteer ~ Friendly Visitor (Philadelphia)

Constellation Health Services in Feasterville, Bucks County is seeking a dedicated Friendly Visitor to provide meaningful companionship to patients who would greatly benefit from human connection and attentive presence. This is a full-time volunteer opportunity.

About the Role

As a Friendly Visitor, you'll spend time with patients who may have limited contact with family and friends. Your visits provide genuine companionship, emotional support, and a reassuring presence that significantly improves patients' quality of life and helps reduce feelings of isolation.

What You'll Do

• Visit with patients to provide warm, compassionate companionship during scheduled times
• Engage in authentic conversations on topics that matter to each patient
• Participate in activities such as listening to music together, reading aloud, or enjoying quiet time
• Offer consistent, caring presence that helps patients feel valued and less alone
• Treat every patient interaction with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness
