UX – Designer Intern

The Opportunity

We're seeking a creative UX Designer Intern to contribute to meaningful design projects that impact millions of travelers. You'll work alongside our design team to explore user needs, develop innovative solutions, and refine digital products. This internship provides real-world exposure to the complete UX design process, from research and discovery through implementation and iteration. You'll gain practical skills while supporting the design and development of Airasia's digital products and platforms.

Core Duties

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for digital products and features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and marketing
• Contribute to design documentation and maintain consistency with design systems
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and user insights
• Support the design team in visual design and user interface development

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or comparable software
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving, and creative capability
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions clearly
• Genuine curiosity about user behavior and commitment to user-centered design principles
• Ability to work collaboratively and respond positively to constructive feedback
