About the Role
This is a full-time, local Class A Company Driver position based in Clawson, Oakland County, hauling aggregate commodities with steel box dump trailers. As part of our quad-axle and tri-axle fleet, you'll transport broken concrete, hardfill, and construction debris across the region while staying close to home. Compensation starts at $20 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle equipped with a steel box dump trailer on local routes
- Haul aggregate materials including broken concrete, hardfill, and debris
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready
- Load, transport, and unload materials following site and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and brokers to meet daily delivery schedules
- Comply with all DOT and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Experience operating dump trailers or similar aggregate hauling equipment preferred
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
- Reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to work full-time on local routes in the Clawson and greater Oakland County area
