Certified Mobile Notary Service is hiring a Traveling Legal Document Witness to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a full-time position serving the Chicago area and surrounding region.

About the Role

As a Traveling Legal Document Witness, you'll provide essential notarization and document witnessing services to clients throughout Chicago and Cook County. You'll travel to client locations, verify identities, notarize legal documents, and maintain complete records of all transactions in compliance with state regulations.

What You'll Do

• Travel to client offices, homes, and businesses to witness and notarize documents
• Verify client identities and confirm document authenticity
• Execute notary seals and signatures on legal documents
• Maintain detailed notary journal records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with Illinois notary public regulations and best practices
• Manage your schedule to accommodate client requests throughout the day
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with regular clients

What We're Looking For

• Current Illinois Notary Public certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong knowledge of legal document requirements and notarization procedures
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Willingness to travel throughout Chicago and Cook County
