Role Overview

This travel X-ray technologist position offers the opportunity to deliver diagnostic imaging services in a healthcare facility in Lapeer County, Michigan. As a travel radiology technologist, you'll bring your radiography expertise to a dynamic medical environment, working 40 hours per week in an 8-hour shift schedule. The 13-week assignment provides the stability and consistent scheduling typical of professional travel healthcare roles in allied health.

What You'll Do

• Operate radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Position patients for X-ray examinations while optimizing image quality and minimizing radiation exposure
• Record patient information and imaging documentation in medical records systems
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and federal regulatory compliance standards
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and ensure appropriate cooperation
• Perform equipment maintenance checks and troubleshoot radiography systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical team members

Who We're Looking For

• Valid X-ray technician license or ARRT certification
• Current Michigan radiologic technologist licensure or immediate eligibility
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and HIPAA regulations
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced clinical environments
• Professional liability insurance required for travel assignments
