Halvor Lines is hiring experienced flatbed truck drivers for full-time, over-the-road (OTR) positions based in Ocala, Marion County. We're looking for CDL-A holders ready to move freight across the country and be recognized for doing it right.
About the Role
As a flatbed truck driver with Halvor Lines, you'll transport specialized loads across the continental United States. This is a full-time OTR position built for drivers who take pride in their work, keep their rigs in top shape, and deliver on time, every time.
What You'll Do
- Operate a flatbed truck on long-haul routes throughout the US
- Secure and tarp loads to DOT standards
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage dispatch communication and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Perform load securement tasks safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record
- OTR experience (experience with flatbed operations a plus)
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently on the road
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and best practices
