About This Position
Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Travel X-Ray Tech in Asheville, NC. This is a full-time position with a contract duration of 13 weeks starting on August 24, 2026. The role involves working rotating shifts of three days per week, each lasting 12 hours.
Responsibilities
- Performing X-ray procedures as required by healthcare professionals
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring it is properly calibrated for safety and accuracy
- Assisting patients in preparing for X-rays and ensuring their comfort during the procedure
- Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment
- Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining confidentiality
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Tech who is dedicated to providing high-quality care. The ideal candidate should have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in X-ray technology
- A current and valid Radiologic Technologist license or certification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in using X-ray equipment and related technology
