Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound and sonography procedures according to physician orders and established clinical protocols.

• Position and prepare patients for examinations while ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, document studies thoroughly, and uphold quality and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Active credentials appropriate for an Ultrasound Technologist, with eligibility to practice in the state of Maine.
