About This Position
LanceSoft is currently seeking a travel nurse registered to work in a Neuro ICU setting for an immediate start date. The role will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the assignment duration is 13 weeks with a 36-hour weekly commitment, working nights on a 12-hour shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU unit
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning and implementation
- Document patient care activities, progress notes, and shift reports accurately
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Neuro ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid RN license to practice in Indiana or an eligible candidate willing to obtain one
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience, preferably in a Neuro ICU environment
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prioritization and multitasking capabilities
