About This Position
Nightingale Nurses - Allied is currently seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role involves working full-time (40 hours per week) on an 8-hour day shift schedule.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech and language disorders in patients of various ages.
- Designing and implementing treatment plans to improve communication skills, swallowing abilities, and other related issues.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and other therapists.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient progress and treatments provided.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist who possesses the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure.
- Current BLS certification required; NRP certification preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, with travel experience being a plus.
