The Opportunity
Amergis is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade in Santa Maria, CA. This full-time position offers a 40-hour per week schedule and a 402-day contract for the 2026-2027 school year.
Core Duties
- Evaluating students to identify speech-language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other professionals
- Providing direct therapy sessions for students
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for SLPs who possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure or eligibility, and national certification (e.g., CCC-SLP). Strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders are essential. A passion for making a difference in the lives of students is highly valued.
