Role Overview
We are currently seeking a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for our Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) in Mosby, Virginia. This is a full-time position with an employment duration of 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on night shifts.
Core Duties
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients requiring cardiac support and monitoring
- Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring equipment and interpret data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement patient-specific care plans in consultation with the medical team
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and discharge planning
