What This Role Involves
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses (ICU RNs) are responsible for delivering specialized care to critically ill patients in hospital and healthcare facility intensive care units. Key responsibilities include evaluating patient conditions, administering treatments, and providing continuous support during recovery.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Administer intravenous fluids and medications
- Provide constant monitoring and support to patients in critical condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities, progress notes, and observations accurately
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey
