About the Role

Join Talent4Health for a temporary travel nursing position supporting Med Surg / Telemetry care in Rome. This full-time role runs for 13 weeks beginning July 27, 2026, providing 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts. Available shift times are 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (day shift) or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night shift), allowing you flexibility in schedule preferences. As a travel nurse, you'll gain diverse clinical experience while maintaining the adaptability that these assignments offer.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care on Med Surg / Telemetry units, monitoring and assessing patients' clinical status
• Conduct ongoing telemetry monitoring and alert the care team to changes in patient condition
• Communicate patient observations and updates to physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to deliver high-quality, safe patient care
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established clinical protocols

Requirements

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Flexibility with availability for day and night shift assignments
