About This Position
We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Department (ED) to join our team at Slate Healthcare. The position is based in Conroe, Texas, with a travel assignment duration of 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on night shifts. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and excellent communication skills.
Core Duties
- Evaluate patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency medical treatment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
- Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
- Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
What You Bring
- A current RN license from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
