Join Health Advocates Network - Northeast as a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. This full-time travel nursing position is based in Loehmanns Plaza, Monroe County, and offers competitive compensation of $3,447 per week for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
This is a 12-week travel nursing assignment for registered nurses with expertise in cardiac operating room procedures. You'll work 36 hours per week on rotating 12-hour shifts, beginning August 3, 2026. Health Advocates Network - Northeast partners with premier healthcare facilities to place skilled nursing professionals in high-demand specialties throughout the Northeast region.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care during cardiac surgical procedures
- Assist cardiac surgeons and surgical teams as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain surgical site safety throughout procedures
- Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies in the OR environment
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical staff, and post-operative care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility protocols
Who We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure
- Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular or cardiac operating room settings
- RNFA certification or equivalent surgical nursing credentials preferred
- Technical proficiency with advanced surgical equipment and instrumentation
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Flexibility and adaptability for travel nursing assignments
