The Opportunity

TNAA TotalMed RN is currently seeking a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) specialty. This position is based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and requires a commitment of 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Your Responsibilities

As a Travel Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Evaluating and managing patients with various medical conditions within the Med Surg unit.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
• Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Documenting patient care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Assisting with patient education to promote self-care and recovery.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A current and active RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• At least one year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
