What This Role Involves

This role involves providing skilled nursing care to women during labor and delivery in a hospital setting. The position requires working 12-hour night shifts, four days per week, for a total of 48 hours per week. The travel assignment will begin on August 24, 2026, with a duration of 26 weeks.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor the health status of laboring women and their newborns.
• Assist in managing pain during labor through various techniques including medication administration if necessary.
• Support delivery processes, ensuring safety for both mother and baby.
• Provide postpartum care to ensure proper recovery and address any complications that may arise.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state of Washington is required.
• Specialty in Labor and Delivery is a must.
• Experience working with high-risk pregnancies or neonatal care preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.
