This full-time contract assignment runs for 13 weeks with an immediate start date and features a four-day work schedule of 10-hour shifts based in New River.
About the Role
Join a dynamic imaging team as a licensed Interventional Radiologist performing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You'll leverage advanced imaging guidance—including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and cross-sectional imaging—to deliver precision-guided interventions. This travel assignment places you at the heart of an established healthcare facility seeking experienced Interventional Radiology expertise. As a travel IR physician, you'll work directly with clinical colleagues while enjoying the flexibility and variety that contract-based placements offer.
What You'll Do
- Perform image-guided percutaneous and vascular procedures with precision and care
- Collaborate closely with referring physicians and surgical teams to develop interventional strategies
- Operate and interpret real-time imaging modalities to guide clinical decisions
- Maintain comprehensive procedural documentation and accurate patient records
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards throughout all procedures
- Participate in clinical rounds and case consultations as needed
- Contribute to the facility's quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Current state medical license in good standing
- Board certification (or board-eligible status) in Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology
- Proven expertise with fluoroscopic and cross-sectional imaging technologies
- Significant procedural experience in both vascular and non-vascular interventions
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor and excellent collaborative communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and clinical environments
