About This Position
Jackson HealthPros is currently seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs as well as operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs under medical supervision
- Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient care quality
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient information
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced nuclear medicine technologist who has:
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology
- A state license to practice nuclear medicine technology
- Certification from a recognized professional organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in operating radiation detection and imaging equipment
