MiniMed is hiring a full-time Territory Manager, Diabetes to drive product adoption and patient access across Norfolk, Williamsburg, Mechanicsville, and the greater Greenville area. In this role, you'll build lasting relationships with healthcare providers, expand market presence, and directly impact the lives of people managing diabetes in your territory.
About the Role
As Territory Manager, you'll own the diabetes care business across a multi-state territory spanning Virginia and North Carolina. This is a hands-on sales leadership position where you'll build strategic partnerships with endocrinologists, primary care physicians, diabetes educators, and clinical staff to drive adoption of MiniMed's diabetes solutions. You'll combine field-based relationship management with data-driven territory planning to grow market share while ensuring healthcare providers have the support they need to serve their patients effectively.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute territory strategy to capture market opportunities across Norfolk, Williamsburg, Mechanicsville, and Greenville healthcare markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinical teams, and key decision-makers in endocrinology and primary care
- Educate physicians and clinic staff on MiniMed diabetes management products and clinical outcomes
- Identify account growth opportunities and support providers in implementing MiniMed solutions for their patient populations
- Track territory metrics, pipeline development, and sales activities using CRM tools
- Travel within your assigned territory to conduct in-person provider meetings and patient education events
- Coordinate with internal teams to address provider needs and resolve implementation challenges
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales with territory management experience
- Knowledge of diabetes care, treatment modalities, or endocrinology clinical settings
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate complex healthcare concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and priorities across a multi-state territory
- Comfort with frequent regional travel and field-based work
- Analytical skills to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
