About the Role
This seasonal, part-time position supports the Tennis Camp Director in delivering engaging tennis education and camp activities throughout the season. You'll work directly with campers to develop their technique, athleticism, and love of tennis while ensuring every participant feels welcomed and supported.
What You'll Do
- Lead tennis instruction sessions for campers of varying skill levels, ages 5–12
- Collaborate with the Tennis Camp Director on curriculum design and activity planning
- Teach fundamental tennis skills including grip, footwork, strokes, and court strategy
- Organize and facilitate camp activities, games, and tournaments
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment for all participants
- Assess camper progress and provide constructive feedback
- Model sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and commitment to youth development
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience instructing tennis or a similar sport to youth
- Comfort working with children ages 5–12 in a group setting
- Strong communication and patience with learners of all abilities
