About the Role

This part-time summer position is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about language instruction and international student success. You'll teach English to motivated learners from around the world, designing engaging lessons that build proficiency across all language skills while fostering cultural understanding and confidence in English communication.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver dynamic English language lessons tailored to student levels and learning goals
• Teach core skills including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and conversational speaking
• Create interactive classroom activities that reinforce language acquisition and boost student engagement
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and discussions; provide constructive feedback
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where international students feel confident practicing English
• Incorporate cultural exchange elements that help students connect language learning to real-world contexts
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across the program

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in English, education, linguistics, or related field
• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent English teaching certification
• Proven experience teaching English as a foreign language or ESL to adult or young adult learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to connect with diverse learners
• Enthusiasm for language education and commitment to student success
• Experience in a multicultural education environment preferred
