Role Overview
To fulfill our commitment to Vision 20:20 initiative, which aims to increase the number of Māori and Pacific health professionals through the Māori and Pacific Admission Scheme (MAPAS), TKHM seeks to recruit an inspiring individual to support our Māori and Pacific students through their cultural and educational journey within the Faculty of Medicine.
Core Duties
- Provide culturally responsive support to Māori and Pacific students, addressing both academic and personal challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and events that promote cultural awareness and understanding among all students.
- Maintain regular communication with students to ensure their needs are being met effectively.
- Collaborate with faculty members, staff, and other support services to enhance the overall student experience.
