Join Google as a Strategic Partner Manager in our Shopping and YouTube division at our Grand Central office in Manhattan. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships that connect merchants and creators with audiences worldwide.
About the Role
As a Strategic Partner Manager for Shopping and YouTube, you will develop and nurture relationships with key partners across e-commerce, content, and technology platforms. You'll own partnership strategy, identify growth opportunities, and translate complex business needs into executable initiatives that benefit both Google and our partners. This is a mid-level role where you'll lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior team members, and drive measurable progress on high-impact programs.
What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships that expand Google's reach in shopping and video commerce
- Collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and policy teams to align partnership requirements with product roadmaps
- Develop partnership agreements and terms that drive mutual success and business growth
- Monitor partnership performance, analyze key metrics, and optimize strategies based on market feedback
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Navigate complex negotiations and problem-solve across organizational and partner boundaries
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related roles at scale
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining high-value partnerships in e-commerce, technology, or media
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate data into clear business recommendations
- Proven leadership capability and comfort mentoring teammates
- Familiarity with the shopping, video, or creator ecosystem (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at driving progress with incomplete information
