What You'll Do
- Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement, communicating directly with the General Manager/Store Manager about performance issues.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
- Create memorable, educational experiences that represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture, inspiring repeat visits from customers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong communication and coaching skills to motivate team members.
- Adept at managing daily operations and ensuring smooth store performance.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging customer experiences.
