The Opportunity

As a Store Floor Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and operational goals while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement. Communicate performance issues directly to the General Manager/Store Manager.
- Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
- Create memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits by representing Sur La Table’s brand and culture.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and educate customers.
- A passion for cooking and sharing culinary knowledge.
- Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
