Position Summary
The Amazon North America Stores (NAS) Design organization is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team dedicated to being the beacon of design excellence within the highly visual, emotive, and impassioned space where shopping and innovative technology meet. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing simple, fluid, and beautiful experiences that accommodate Amazon's growing and diverse customer base.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship intuitive user interfaces across multiple devices and platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and improvements in existing products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to prioritize projects and deliverables.
Who We're Looking For
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in UX design, preferably within the e-commerce or technology industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful UX design projects.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
