Role Overview

The role of a Special Agent at the United States Secret Service is to protect and serve. At their core, those who join the Secret Service are courageous, intelligent, strong, and determined. Your Responsibilities

• Provide protection for the President of the United States and other dignitaries as assigned.
• Investigate financial crimes such as counterfeiting, cybercrime, and other forms of fraud.
• Conduct surveillance operations to ensure the safety of protected individuals.
• Participate in training programs and maintain proficiency in various skills related to law enforcement.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license.
• At least 21 years of age, but not over 36 by the time of appointment.
• No felony convictions or dishonorable discharge from military service.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited college or university (or four years of related work experience).
• Pass a thorough background investigation, medical examination, and polygraph test.
