About the Role
As an RN in SMRMC, you'll provide compassionate patient care during 12-hour night shifts, floating flexibly across units based on clinical needs. This position is designed for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to delivering high-quality care to medical and surgical patients.
What You'll Do
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to medical and surgical patients throughout night shifts
- Float between units to meet patient acuity and census requirements
- Work weekends and maintain availability for extended schedules as operational needs arise
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain comprehensive patient documentation and effectively communicate with incoming shifts

What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in good standing (minimum compliance requirements required before start date)
- Experience in medical/surgical nursing or acute care settings
- Comfort with unit flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing patient care demands
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Preference for candidates available for full schedule availability through early February
- Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centered care
