Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals for staff at the Midrand site
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic connectivity problems to limit downtime
• Perform routine checks and basic upkeep on site service and IT equipment
• Maintain accurate records of assets, inventory, and spare parts
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, and specialised work when required
• Prepare and reconfigure workstations for new joiners, movers, and office changes
• Respond to service requests promptly and log work according to established team processes
• Support a tidy, safe, and well-organised technical environment on site

Requirements

• Experience in a Site Services Technician, desktop support, or similar site technical support role
• Working knowledge of PC hardware, common operating systems, printers, and networking fundamentals
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically and explain fixes clearly to non-technical users
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through on tickets and tasks
• Confident communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues and suppliers
• Comfort working hands-on and adapting to shifting site priorities during the working day
• A relevant technical certificate, diploma, or equivalent practical experience is preferred
