About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you'll own the rhythm of your shift—guiding your team through the morning rush, the afternoon slump, and everything in between. You'll be the visible leader behind the espresso bar, empowering baristas to take pride in their craft while ensuring our customers leave with more than just a great coffee drink. Your leadership shapes the tone of the entire store, and you'll have real opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career with us.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor baristas and shift team members, ensuring consistent delivery of quality beverages and genuine customer service
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, cash handling, and opening or closing procedures
- Train team members on coffee craft, food safety, and Starbucks standards
- Manage customer interactions with professionalism and resolve concerns thoughtfully
- Monitor food costs, waste reduction, and store cleanliness throughout your shift
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that reflects our community values
- Maintain compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations

- Customer service experience and a natural ability to connect with people
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience, or demonstrated readiness to lead
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coach others effectively
