Service Deli Clerk (42, Lahaina)

Foodland Super Market is hiring a Service Deli Clerk at our Lahaina, Maui location. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week at $17.59 per hour, available for someone with evening and weekend availability.

About the Role

You'll join the deli team that serves thousands of Lahaina shoppers each week. As our Service Deli Clerk, you'll be the front-line representative of quality and customer care, handling everything from food preparation to customer interactions in a busy, community-focused grocery environment.

What You'll Do

• Slice, portion, and package meats, cheeses, and prepared foods to customer specifications
• Operate the deli case register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the deli counter inventory, organize the display, and rotate stock by expiration date
• Uphold food safety standards and keep the deli area clean and well-organized
• Greet customers warmly, answer product questions, and make recommendations
• Support the deli team during peak hours and special store promotions

What We're Looking For

• Strong availability for evening and weekend shifts—candidates with open schedules will be prioritized
• Customer service experience or genuine interest in learning deli operations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and attention to detail in all tasks
