Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Data Engineering team, you will be integral in building the Caspian Data Platform — Ripple's centralized lakehouse that powers analytics, financial reporting, and more.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for real-time processing of large volumes of transactional and operational data.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and reliable data flows into the Caspian Data Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and data science, to define and prioritize data requirements.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval mechanisms for efficient querying and analysis.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on data engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in building robust ETL pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Fivetran, or similar.
