About the Role

The Americas Revenue Recognition team at Oracle partners with business stakeholders across the organization to structure, evaluate, and execute customer transactions in ways that optimize financial outcomes and reduce exposure to risk. As a Senior Analyst, you'll serve as a trusted technical resource and subject matter expert, translating complex contractual arrangements into accurate revenue recognition outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Analyze customer contracts and multi-element arrangements to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under US GAAP
• Advise Oracle business units on transaction structuring to support revenue objectives while maintaining compliance standards
• Prepare detailed technical accounting memoranda documenting revenue recognition positions and supporting rationale
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and finance teams to resolve revenue recognition questions and support transaction approvals
• Monitor regulatory updates and accounting standards changes to ensure Oracle's practices remain current and compliant
• Support financial reporting and audit processes related to revenue recognition
• Contribute to team process improvements and best-practice documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of revenue recognition experience in a technical accounting or finance role
• Demonstrated mastery of ASC 606 and related US GAAP standards
• Ability to understand complex, non-standard contracts and apply accounting principles to unique scenarios
• Strong communication skills to explain technical accounting concepts to non-accounting audiences
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• CPA or accounting degree strongly preferred
• Experience in software, SaaS, or cloud technology industries is valuable
