About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager for water and wastewater services at Jacobs, you'll lead end-to-end project execution for municipal and governmental clients. You'll own client partnerships, manage project portfolios, and work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and finance teams to deliver critical infrastructure solutions. This position requires balancing technical project requirements with business objectives, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving quality outcomes across your projects.

What You'll Do

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and budget management for water and wastewater projects serving public sector clients
• Build and strengthen relationships with local and state government agencies to understand their infrastructure needs
• Coordinate project teams, allocate resources, and monitor progress against timelines and financial targets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and municipal codes
• Report project status, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Mentor and support junior project managers in delivering technical and administrative project work
• Identify process improvements and best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated success on public sector water or wastewater projects
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure systems, permitting, and environmental regulations
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder communication skills
• Leadership experience directing project teams and supporting staff development
• Project Management Professional (PMP) credential or equivalent certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, project management, business administration, or related field
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications
