About This Position
We are seeking a Senior Investment Manager to join our growing team at Octopus Energy Generation in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide). As part of the leadership group, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to accelerate the global transition to renewable energy sources. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing and investing in large-scale renewable projects across Asia.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy assets
- Develop comprehensive business plans and financial models for new investments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with renewable energy projects
What You Bring
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management within the renewable energy sector, preferably in Asia
- Demonstrated track record of successful investment in large-scale renewable energy projects
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- A deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and market dynamics in the Asian region
