Edward Jones Careers is hiring a Senior Field Supervision Director – Heightened Supervision to join our Field Supervision Department. This full-time position is located across the US and offers the opportunity to lead complex supervision initiatives for Financial Advisors who require elevated oversight and support.
About the Role
As a Senior Field Supervision Director, you will take ownership of supervisory responsibilities that demand strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail. Your work will directly impact compliance, advisor development, and the integrity of client relationships across our network.
What You'll Do
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Financial Advisor activities, identifying patterns and areas requiring intervention
- Develop and implement individualized supervision strategies for advisors flagged for heightened oversight
- Review transactions, client communications, and compliance documentation to ensure regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—compliance, legal, and regional management—to address complex supervisory challenges
- Document findings, track progress, and prepare detailed reports on advisor performance and risk mitigation
- Coach and mentor advisors on best practices, policies, and ethical standards
- Recommend corrective actions or escalation pathways when necessary
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in financial services compliance, supervision, or regulatory oversight
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Knowledge of FINRA regulations, SEC rules, or similar regulatory frameworks is highly valued
- Comfort with detail-oriented work and deadline management
