About the Role
As a Senior Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will diagnose, service, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and heavy machinery to keep fleets operational and mission-ready. This position is based in Virginia Beach and is contingent upon contract award, with applications accepted through 20 April 2026 and an anticipated start date of 28 July 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment systems
- Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to maximize reliability and uptime
- Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and drivetrain components for wear and faults
- Document service work accurately and maintain detailed maintenance records
