About the Role

As an Industrial Cybersecurity Senior Consultant at Black & Veatch, you will advise clients on securing the control systems and operational technology (OT) that keep essential infrastructure running. This on-site position in Cary, NC places you at the intersection of engineering and cybersecurity, where your guidance directly strengthens the resilience of industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and recommend security solutions for industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology environments.
• Lead client engagements, translating technical risk into clear, actionable strategy for stakeholders.
• Conduct vulnerability evaluations and develop practical mitigation roadmaps tailored to industrial settings.
• Support compliance efforts aligned with recognized industrial cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to embed security across the full project lifecycle.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute thought leadership to advance the firm's cybersecurity practice.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior-level experience in industrial or OT cybersecurity, ideally within consulting.
• Strong working knowledge of ICS/SCADA architectures and the security challenges unique to them.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and risk-management practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief both technical teams and executive audiences.
• A consultative, problem-solving mindset and a commitment to client outcomes.
