Role Overview

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Developer to take ownership of complex development initiatives from conception through production deployment. You'll architect scalable solutions, establish technical standards, and guide a team of developers as they grow their capabilities. In this role, you'll balance hands-on coding with strategic oversight, ensuring our software systems remain secure, performant, and maintainable.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of software development projects, including design, implementation, testing, and release.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold quality standards across the team.
• Mentor junior developers through code guidance, architectural discussions, and professional development.
• Collaborate across teams to define technical specifications, system requirements, and architectural approaches.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system reliability concerns.
• Manage version control workflows using Git and integrate continuous deployment practices into our development pipeline.

Who We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong foundation in software architecture, system design, and scalability principles.
• Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering collaborative development environments.
• Expertise debugging complex systems and optimising code performance across large codebases.
• Hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools—AWS, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes—and CI/CD automation.
• Professional-level experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are valued.
