Security Specialist – IAM / Entra ID

PNC is hiring a Security Specialist to manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft Entra ID systems at our Strongsville, Cuyahoga County headquarters. This full-time position is essential to maintaining secure identity infrastructure and protecting enterprise access across our organization.

About the Role

As a Security Specialist focused on IAM and Entra ID, you'll lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of our identity platforms. You'll ensure secure access controls, support identity governance initiatives, and address security challenges that impact our enterprise.

What You'll Do

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, managing user identities, roles, and access permissions across the organization
• Design and implement identity governance policies and conduct access reviews for compliance
• Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access request workflows
• Investigate and resolve identity and access-related technical issues
• Monitor identity security events and respond to potential access-related threats
• Partner with IT, compliance, and business teams on IAM initiatives
• Create and maintain documentation for configurations and security procedures
• Support regulatory audits and compliance assessments for access controls

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft Entra ID or Azure Active Directory
• Deep understanding of identity governance, access control, and IAM best practices
• Knowledge of identity provisioning systems and user lifecycle management
• Strong troubleshooting and technical communication skills
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and audit requirements
• Relevant certifications preferred (Microsoft Entra, Azure, or industry IAM credentials)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT security or identity management
