Security Operations Analyst

About This Position

Huntress is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst to join our growing team in Ireland (nationwide) (nationwide). Reporting directly to the Manager, this role involves triaging, investigating, responding, and remediating various intrusions on a daily basis within our 24/7 human-led SOC. The position offers full-time employment with no remote option available.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate a variety of intrusions on a daily basis
  • Work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology and processes
  • Participate in daily opportunities for analyst skillset progression and career growth

What We're Looking For

  • A strong background in cybersecurity with a focus on threat detection and response
  • Experience in triaging, investigating, and responding to security incidents
  • Familiarity with various intrusion detection systems (IDS) and security information event management (SIEM) tools
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
