Security Officer II – EMT

Angelofthewinds is hiring a full-time Security Officer II - EMT in Arlington, Washington, starting at $26.00 per hour. This on-site role combines property protection with emergency medical response to keep guests, team members, and facilities secure around the clock.

About the Role

As a Security Officer II - EMT at Angelofthewinds in Arlington, Washington, you help maintain a safe environment that supports exceptional guest experiences. The position requires full availability across a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, holidays, special events, and overtime. Candidates must stand and walk for entire shifts, occasionally bend or crouch, and move objects using up to 50 pounds of force at times. Regular exposure to tobacco smoke occurs in this setting. Strong interpersonal standards apply, calling for a positive, professional approach when interacting with everyone on property.

What You'll Do

• Protect the well-being of staff, visitors, buildings, and outdoor spaces.
• Staff fixed locations and patrol interiors, exteriors, and parking zones to promote order, enforce policies, and verify compliance with laws and regulations.
• Shield the property and people from fire, theft, intrusion, assaults, and similar risks.
• Restrict access by unauthorized individuals according to rules and statutes.
• Block alcohol sales or consumption by those under legal age and issue calm warnings or remove disruptive persons when needed.
• Coordinate with supervisors, then interview guests, witnesses, and coworkers to examine incidents, concerns, or accidents.
• Provide cash escorts and chip replenishments as directed.
• Answer medical emergencies with CPR, first aid, and AED support, plus operate diagnostic tools authorized for certified Emergency Medical Technicians.
• Track readiness and inventory of on-site CPR, first-aid, and related medical supplies while following HIPAA privacy standards.
• Prepare timely written documentation of actions taken.
• Guide traffic flow and support monitoring of evacuation paths as required.
• Master and support adherence to organizational procedures, National Indian Gaming Commission rules, Washington State Gambling Commission standards, IRS Title 31 requirements, and the Stillaguamish Gaming Act.
• Complete additional assignments as needed.

What You Bring

• Outstanding guest-service abilities.
• Current Washington State Emergency Medical Technician certification plus any required instructor credentials, clearly maintained over time.
• Hands-on casino security background or an equivalent blend of education and security/law-enforcement experience showing readiness for the duties; prior casino work is preferred.
• Capacity to secure and retain a Class III gaming license issued by the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Physical readiness to meet the demands of continuous standing, walking, and moderate lifting in a tobacco-smoke environment.
