As a remote Data Engineer at Stratpoint serving Mandaluyong, Philippines, you establish clear standards and methods that speed up reliable software handovers and elevate overall results. Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement data pipelines that pull information from various source systems straight into the data warehouse
• Maintain and refine running pipelines so all downstream service level agreements remain fully satisfied
• Join agile ceremonies under the Agile Tribe model and address tribe requests for warehouse data ingestions
• Uphold accuracy and integrity of every table stored inside the data warehouse
• Apply data engineering practices that cover version tracking, clear code, feature delivery, future expansion, testing, releases, and after-release help
• Aid the L2 Data Operations group and step in as L3 support when needed
• Administer data storage volumes, compute capacity, and security controls within the warehouse environment
• Collect and translate data requirements that arise from tribe requests
• Step in to assist data engineers working in other tribes or domains whenever required
• Display strong technical command of the full data warehouse platform
• Resolve data problems for warehouse stakeholders and run thorough investigation sessions
• Prepare complete delivery documents such as data dictionaries, mapping records, and data models
• Continuously improve pipeline efficiency and contribution to project delivery plus daily operations support

What We're Looking For

• Two to six years of hands-on experience delivering IT projects or building data solutions, especially around data warehousing or business intelligence
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or another closely related IT program
• Solid SQL and ETL development skills, ideally gained on data warehousing, business intelligence, or similar delivery initiatives
• Proven ability to tune data pipelines so they hit service level agreements while reducing expense
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, EMR, and Hive, plus cloud platforms, is helpful
• Working knowledge of Python, R, Java, or Scala counts as an advantage
• Competence in data modeling, system integrations, quality processes, and architecture is welcome
• Hands-on AWS data services experience that includes Glue and Athena
• Exposure to Spark and Databricks environments
• Background with Delta Lake and broader data lake setups
• Practical use of Kafka, Confluent, real-time processing, or streaming technologies
